While There Is Still Time

When everyone was scared of Y2K at the end of 1999, I had no fear. Because I knew some were afraid, I was preaching that last Sunday of the year and preached a message “While There is Still Time”. None of us knows how much time we have. The writer of Hebrews says, “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” What all does this imply?

  • Do not procrastinate! Do it today! Apologize. Make things right with your family. Mend broken relationships. Don’t live with regret.
  • Don’t let pride get in the way! Many harden their hearts and allow pride and bitterness to take over. Life is too short. Walk in joy and peace. You may not have tomorrow to correct the issues.

I cannot tell you how many times I walk with families through various situations. This is ever so common. Don’t be captive to your pride! Be set free by forgiveness and reconciliation. You’ll be glad you did.
