Does Anyone Blog Anymore? (Are You Still Out There?)

It’s been quite some time since I posted on this account. I left blogging for a minute and let the paid domain go for this account. WordPress made me invisible for several months because the unpaid domain reappeared, so I started a brand new blog with only 10 percent of my initial audience.

I have been blessed to have over 1,600 followers on this site. Are you guys still blogging? What developments have risen in your life in the last few years? I value our connection and would love to hear what is happening with you. Let me hear from you in the comment section.

  1. I blog twice a day. Nice to meet you. Today has been slow, I guess it has been a fun family Labor Day for many. We have a sweet little family here. Looking forward to reading your work.😃❤

  2. I’ve been blogging for about 2-1/2 years. I’ve got around 650 followers, which isn’t a huge number, but the growth is steady. I love to see where they are in the world. Some can be like friends, as you know. They’ve been a great encouragement during the lockdowns/”shelter in place” orders. I’m grateful to live at a time when I can visit friends around the world without leaving my house. 😉

  3. I am starting fresh also but I am needing some prayer. I tackling a hard subject. my end goal to bridge the gap between he church and the anime communities. Plus a Minecraft blog!

  4. Wife on the kidney transplant list. Holding on otherwise. Still writing ten blogs (plus) each week, and Sunday school starts next Sunday – thanks for the reminder – gotta prepare!!

  5. Hi Matthew, I am still blogging but I have decreased the number of posts to address pressing family responsibilities when necessary. Followers are gradually increasing but actual visits are declining over the last few months by about 40%, which I attribute to the ramifications of Covid 19, divisions and worsening world conditions all around us. What I call “old faithfuls” continue at less than 5% , if that. A lot of people are suffering and it is becoming increasingly difficult to navigate through the maze at times. Off ramps off of the straight and narrow abound. I’ve always appreciated your honesty and down to earth presence, hope all is well with you and yours. Blessings!

  6. Hi Matthew: Good to see you back! Just taking life one day at time. I don’t know if you had a chance to check it out yet, but WP is connecting with Anchor now and you can convert your posts to Podcasts also, that seems to be the thing now. I think blogging is like all technology, it’s starts hot and cools off, but the ones who are there to read you will stay with you! Welcome Back!

  7. Hi Matthew! It’s good to see you! I’ve only been blogging for about a year and 1/2. I have about 500 followers. But I love the relationships I’ve formed in this space. This community has given me support, wisdom, and ways to polish my perspectives. I only publish once a week. I just completed my first children’s book. The self-publishing journey has been a busy one! It’s full of learning! I also work with special needs adults. I went two weeks, just recently, without publishing and it felt strange. I’m glad you’re here! I’m taking a two week heavenly hiatus to go meet my new granddaughter in Alaska! God bless you!

  8. I have not been blogging since March. No particular reason, I hope to get back to it very soon. My domain also was lost and I’m trying to get it back. It’s good to hear from you, hope all is well.
