The journey of my life has been much like a roller coaster over the last year and a half. 2013 was a challenging year, to say the least, as I attempted to pastor a church while my family was disintegrating. I soon resigned the pastorate, wondering what my future would hold.
God began to bring healing to my life as I returned to a community I dearly loved and that dearly loved me. Healing is impossible without a loving community.
If your life is broken, don’t attempt to heal alone. Find a loving church community and a good counselor to help you through it. You can later use your difficulties to help someone else.
I saw you just started following us – but I was sure we were already connected. I’ve scanned through a few posts and am glad to see your new ministry. I may do the same, change my “paid” for site and go free. Looks like you either did a lot of work or it automatically kept all your previous posts. I started our blog in 2011.
Anyway, it’s great to stay connected. I don’t go into the reader much as we now have our two grandsons full time – since May 16, 2020. Blogging slowed down after an intense 2019 and now even more intense 2020. And this year, it’s not even counting the Covid debacle.
I’d love to send you a private email about some issues you may be dealing with Pastors. And it’s really nothing new (as under the sun).
God Bless!!!
